1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rendevuu mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of Rendevuu constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By using Rendevuu, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts that belong to users under 18. Rendevuu is not intended for use by minors under any circumstances.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Rendevuu, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Rendevuu reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use Rendevuu in a respectful, lawful manner. You will treat other users with dignity and will not engage in harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking, or any form of abusive behavior. You will not use the Service for any commercial purpose, solicitation, or advertising without our prior written consent. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both on and off the platform.

5. Content & Photos

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on Rendevuu, including photos and profile information (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant Rendevuu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your User Content solely in connection with operating and improving the Service. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you post and that your content does not violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.

For your safety, Rendevuu automatically strips EXIF metadata (including GPS location data) from photos you upload. You may not upload content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or that depicts minors.

6. Hotel Check-In & Location

Rendevuu is built around hotel-based discovery. When you check in to a participating hotel through the Service, you acknowledge that your presence at that hotel may be visible to other checked-in Rendevuu users at the same property. Your check-in status is temporary and expires automatically at your stated checkout date or when you manually check out. Rendevuu does not share your room number or any specific location within the hotel. You agree not to misrepresent your hotel check-in status or location. We reserve the right to verify check-in information and to remove users who abuse this feature.

7. Matching & Messaging

Rendevuu facilitates connections between users who are staying at the same hotel or nearby properties. Matching is based on mutual interest; both users must express interest before a conversation can begin. Rendevuu does not guarantee any particular number of matches, the quality of matches, or any outcomes from using the Service. Messaging is available only between mutually matched users. We reserve the right to monitor messages for safety purposes and to take action against users who send threatening, abusive, or unsolicited commercial content.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to: (a) impersonate any person or entity; (b) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (c) upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts; (e) scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service; (f) create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes; (g) solicit money or financial information from other users; (h) use the Service to promote escort services, prostitution, or human trafficking; (i) share other users' personal information without their consent; or (j) engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service.

9. Reporting & Safety

Rendevuu is committed to user safety. You may report any user who violates these Terms, engages in inappropriate behavior, or makes you feel unsafe using our in-app reporting tools. We review all reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. In cases involving imminent danger or criminal activity, we may share information with law enforcement. While we strive to maintain a safe platform, Rendevuu cannot guarantee your safety and you should exercise caution when meeting anyone in person. We recommend meeting in public hotel spaces and informing a trusted friend of your plans.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, logos, graphics, and all software, is owned by Rendevuu and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission. The Rendevuu name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Rendevuu. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with a DMCA takedown notice at the address provided in the Contact section below. Your notice must include identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.Rendevuu DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. Rendevuu DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS USERS AND MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE CONDUCT, IDENTITY, INTENTIONS, OR COMPATIBILITY OF ANY USER. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Rendevuu, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. IN NO EVENT SHALL Rendevuu'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO Rendevuu IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Rendevuu may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention and safety. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Rendevuuafter such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
